Random Thoughts at 31 Weeks

I’m currently in a battle with a stationary bike–attempting to shift myself into a position where my 31-week stomach doesn’t get in the way of my legs as they slooooowly pedal. Honestly, it’s much harder than it sounds…

I should probably just get on the treadmill, but at this point, I feel like I’ve committed to the bike … Plus it’s way easier (and safer) to type sitting down.  Also, I don’t really feel like getting up and walking over to the treadmill…

But, I digress…

31 weeks. Wow. I simulataneously feel like I’ve been pregnant foreverrrrr and like time is flying by.

We’re slowly getting ready for baby…de-cluttering, Spring cleaning,  stocking up on diapers…

I think nesting had begun and poor Mike has been ever so patient and gracious with my never-ending to-do lists…

I’ve always been a list maker– but even I realize that I’ve gotten a bit out-of-control lately (which says a lot). The thing is I’m pretty sure that once the little guy arrives we’re never going to get anything done again…seriously.

Aside from worrying about the state of our household, I find myself worrying more and more about Addie…how will she adjust to the baby? How will she do when I’m in the hospital? How will she feel? I think all normal worries for expectant parents of more than 1 child, but worries nonetheless…

So it’s extra hugs, extra attention, and lots of books about getting a sibling for Miss Addie… That and lots of to-do-lists…

More to come later…

For now, a few more minutes of battling with the stationary bike…
